As Gui Gui walked into an unfamiliar school, she suddenly felt very frightened. She was going to be a newcomer here, will there be bullies in this school?

*Flashback*

"Gui Gui, " her father had announce fiercely. "Out of all the schools you applied college for, only ONE accepted you!" Gui Gui had applied for twelve schools and only one accepted her.

"Sorry, Dad, I'll do my best the next time." Gui Gui mumbled absentmindedly. She had been saying this since she started failing when she was nine years old that she was not very clear about what her Dad was talking about.

"There is NO another time!" her father had bellowed. "Unless you can prove me that I am wrong, do not ever come back into this house and call yourself Gui Gui!"

And with that, he had thrown Gui Gui's luggage out of the house and she had been alone.

*Flashback Ends*

"Excuse me, do you know where is Class 206?" a voice rang, and Gui Gui snapped out of her 'dream'.

She looked up from her bag and only to see a handsome young man. He was lanky and his hair was bronze colour. BUT, she was not interested at all.

"Class 206?" Gui Gui gasped. "You are a new student?"

He nodded. Gui Gui heaved a sigh of relief. She would not be alone. "I am a new student too. My name is Gui Gui. You?"

He grinned and said, "Nice to meet you, Gui Gui, I am Ya Lun, you can call me Aaron."

Gui Gui smiled back and suggested, "Why not we find the class together?"

"Sure!" Ya Lun looked glad. Gui Gui wondered why.

Suddenly, a girl with a one-sided ponytail came towards Gui Gui and Ya Lun. As she walked past, a few guys goggled at her. She was sure a beauty, thought Gui Gui. But Ya Lun looked uninterested when she came forward.

"What do you two think of this school?" she asked flittingly, apparently trying to flirt with Ya Lun.

"How are we supposed to know? We have not studied for one lesson yet." Ya Lun said coldly. She eyed Gui Gui with her ratty eyes when he used the word 'we'.

"Xiao Xun!" a voice rang out.

Xiao Xun rolled her eyes and ran off in another direction of the voice.

A boy ran towards them and asked, "Did you see Xiao Xun?"

"That girl?With a one-sided ponytail?" Gui Gui asked sarcastically. He looked at her and said, "New student?"

"Yeah." Gui Gui said and smiled politely. He raised his eyebrows and said, "What is your name? I am Wang Zi."

Ya Lun sniggered and Wang Zi stared at him in jealousy as his eyes traced his shoulder to his hand, to his palm that was resting on Gui Gui's shoulder.

"I am Gui Gui and this is Ya Lun."Gui Gui gestured Ya Lun and herself.

"What class?"

"Both in class 206," Ya Lun replied coolly.

He walked off without a word and it was Gui Gui and Ya Lun alone again.

Ya Lun looked at Gui Gui and they walked towards a group of girls.
