"Why should I?" Gui Gui looked forward, and regretted it. "Urgh!"
"Oh My God!" Xiao Yu quickly button his pants up.
"HAHA!" Wang Zi laughed even more.
"Can't you boys be dressed in the house?" Gui Gui looked at Wang Zi's muscular chest.
Wang Zi put his arms across his chest, he gulped. "Erm... We are used to being like this."
"Hah!" Gui Gui scoffed. "What about Ya Tou?"
"She is on the first floor," Wang Zi rolled his eyes. "She wouldn't come up."
Gui Gui did not say anything but kept her head forward as she walked into the room.
"Woooooooooooh...," Wang Zi teased, as the room was in complete darkness.
"Stop it," Gui Gui hissed and elbowed him on his bare chest.
Gui Gui found her way to the bed.
"What are you doing? I thought you were afraid of dark?" Wang Zi prompted.
"Can't you see that I am trying to overcome my fear?" Gui Gui said.
"I can't see, it is too dark," Wang Zi joked.
"Haha...," Gui Gui laughed humourously. She was not afraid somehow, when Wang Zi was with her... Gui Gui snapped her head up, "Aren't you going to fix the stupid damn bulb?"
"Sure, sure," Wang Zi groaned and pulled out his flashlight.
No matter how Wang Zi tried to fix it, he just couldn't. "What the hell... This bulb is spoiled!"
"What?" Gui Gui shrieked.
"Someone cut the wires! I kow it is cut because the broken parts are smooth, not jagged."
"Oh nooo," Gui Gui moaned. "I guess I will just sleep in the living room."
The rain had not stop. It was bigger then. Suddenly, the all the lights in the house went out.
"Ah!" Gui Gui screamed.
"It's just a blackout," Wang Zi shone the flashlight onto his face.
Gui Gui went towards him and they walked back to the house's living room.
"Ya Tou! Where is all the power control?" Wang Zi said.
"It's useless. We tried already." Ao Quan said.
"Hey! Did you realise something?" Xiao Jie said.
"What?" Xiao Yu snapped.
"It is only our house that has blacked-out! Look outside the windows!" Xiao Jie said.
Ah Wei stepped closer to the window, "Hey, for the first time, Xiao Jie is right!"
"Oh no!" Wang Zi cried. "My flashlight's battery is going flat!"
They watched as the light went dimmer and dimmer.
"Oh no...," Gui Gui groaned.
"Don't worry, Gui Gui, we will find a way," Xiao Jie said.
"Ya Tou? Where are you?" Ya Tou suddenly appeared beside Ah Wei.
"Can you turn on your phone?" Ah Wei said.
"Mm, let me try," Ya Tou said, and she tried to turn on hers. "I can't!"
All of them tried. "Is this one of the Ten Sisters trick?" Wang Zi suggested.
"Impossible," Ah Wei said. "This kind of black-out can only be caused by high power radioactivity that is very dangerous and hard to create, not to say use."
"How did you know?" Xiao Jie said.
"I know it on my own," Ah Wei said jerkily.
"Really? I thought I heard that somewhere...," Wei Lian interjected. "Oh! At the science sow telecast!"
They laughed. All except Gui Gui.
Why can't their phones be turned on when mine is able to turn on? Gui Gui thought.
"Gui Gui?" Ao Quan said. "What's the matter?"
"My phone can be turned on."
*Silence*
"What?" Wang Zi broke the silence. "You kidding me?"
"It is true."
Gui Gui was shocked herself too. The only contact she had was ******986.
Wang Zi said, "Is this one of your joke?"
Gui Gui decided to lie. "Ya. Haha! I need the toilet."
She tiptoed her way to the toilet. When she was in the toilet, she panicked. The room was dark. She looked at her phone. There was light. She was relieved.
She dialled the only contact she had.
"Hello?" A familiar voice rang out.
"Hello?" Gui Gui replied.
"Gui Gui? Is that you?" Gui Gui was starting to recall.
"YES! You are Ya Lun?"
"Yep! How did you know my phone number?"
